TAXIS or TOW-TRUCK OPERATORS!

Today a %&@#$ tow-truck operator got a "call" whilst I was beside him in peek-hour-traffic in Gauteng (thats what I think...flippen d$%s) He just put on his orange light and put pedal down and swerved left and hit me on my bike. I was far left.  I was clearly surrounded by angels since I did not come down but ripped his left rear fender off with my CRASH-BAR!!!!!!!! Thank you ABS.

Later I discovered my R-back led indicator is broken  Thats R517.00 plus fitment.

I pulled him off the road got his details...without blikseming him.

Now I have a dilemma who do I "love less" TAXIS or TOW-TRUCK OPERATORS!

Taxi drivers generally know what is going on around them. They drive a lot, have lots of experience and will often give way. It's a few that give them all a bad name.

Tow Truck operators are a danger to the public. They are called awake and then go from sleeping under the tree to screaming down the road at top speed in less than a minute.
They have absolutely no problems with causing accidents, because it brings them money.
If I could, I would ban them off the roads with a smile.

In life, tow-truck operators are about 5 levels lower than army-chef's, just above your household cockroach, they are on level 7.

Bliksemse skelms, in 2000 was my vrou in 'n ongeluk en daai tyd het hulle my R750 gevra om die kar 5km van die ongeluk na hulle shop te sleep. Ek vra die man op die ongeluk wie gaan betaal want die was nie my vrou se skuld nie en het nie volle versekering op die kar gehad nie, nie man wat die ongeluk veroorsaak het. Einde van die dag het die man geen versekering gehad nie en ek moes die geld opdok. Hulle het hierdie opgesoopte bakkies met V8's en V6's met baie spoed maar nie die hanteering op brieke om daai stuk gemors veilig op ' pad te kan hanteer nie. Die ouens moet seker ook werk maar die manier hoe hulle dit doen en die pryse wat hulle vra is belaglik!

I caught on of these low-lifes at about 3 in the morning pouring diesel on the road in an intersection.  When I stopped and asked him what he thought he was doing, he came at me with a wheel spanner.  Reported it to the cops but I don't think it ever went any further than that.

No contest!  Tow truckers should be assisted to reach as quickly as possible that special part of hell reserved for them.  Hence the V8s...

I heard that Govt was in the process of getting rid of these guys and introducing legislation that only allows recovery by means of roll-backs. They recon these bakkies are not designed to handle the big cars. Brakes are not sufficient and a big car hanging on the back of a bakkie lifts the nose, causing a lack of proper steering control.

Knowing Govt, it will probably take another ten years before that comes to being.
