I discovered the perfect Sunday morning ride only 20km from my home. It is about 110km long and includes some high speed gravel ( which is muddy this time of year ), 2 gravel mountain passes, some 2 spoor paadjies and some nice sandy sections. My bike still have Scorpions on, so the mud and sand was a lot of fun.
For the guys that know my valley....from Vanrhynsdorp take the Urionskraal road, take Ouberg turnoff, go up Ouberg pass, follow road markers towards Gifberg road, go down Gifberg pass and back to Vanrhynsdorp.
Unfortunately I could not take any photos due to heavy mist.
This coming weekend I will go up the West Coast from Koekenaap to wherever.
