Nice photos. I did that same route in reverse, from CT up the coast in June, the dirt road between Gansbaai and Agulhas is a nice trip but the locals in Agulhas told me that it's a mud skate rink in wet weather. Did you notice the little restaurant/pub in the centre of town? The one with the sign that says "Souternmost pub in Africa"? Excellent seafood there, that morning's catch. Not to mention an endless supply of cold beer. The owner will also tell you some hair-raising stories about great white sharks if you ask him.
All in all a very nice place, it would be a nice weekend trip from CT, spend the night and ride back next day. Wish I had been on a bike when I did it. Next time.
