I live on a sort of plateau, surrounded by river valleys/gorges....this is the Krantzkloof Gorge on the southern side....this is about 1000 - 1500m from my house. My daughter...Wifey...and my mom.

In this place called Yorkshire...

Rugby pitch behind the house - not quite a dry dusty Highveld field in winter...

House is a bit more colourful in summer though...

My part of the woods is Canada. Atlantic Canada to be exact. We are four provinces that make up the East Coast of Canada. I live in the Province of Nova Scotia. Highest tides on the planet. Its really wild to see.

Cape Breton (part of my province)

A friendly neighbourhood moose

Our Cabot Trail that people come to from all over the world. It is a bikers paradise ! Google it to get the low down

An area called Digby Neck in our province.

Some winter riding

The tide would be over this bikers head when it comes in to give you an idea of how far out it goes here.

The South Shore of our province

These are just some shots of our province. There are thousands of photo ops. all over the Maritimes. It truly is a bikers paradise. We have South Africa as our next go to destination. Anyone interested is seeing this part of the world, please let me know and I will do everything on my part to be a great host.

Cheers !

Thanks edgy. Yeah, its amazing the results you can get by over revving, dumping the clutch, pointing up hill, having the wind with you, helium in the front tire . . . etc  :ricky:

The KLR's got us all back into our roots of on/off road biking from years on the sport bikes. I sold my KLR last year to make way for my KTM 990 Adventure. I loved the KLR though and it was the best bang for the buck bike I ever owned. My riding buddies went on to a Versys, Varadero, and a GS.

Here is a couple of shots of our group on our new rides :

Now all we need are some Wild Dogs to come over here and ride our area !
