And here I am... eventually.
Just completed my first 100 km EVER on a bike!
And yes, I am still scared (spot the sign on the reflective vest)!

It's the 'scared' that keeps you from getting hurt.... your confidence should increase as your skills do

+1 :thumleft: Just remember to NEVER EVER, EVER feel presured into doing anything or going anywhere, where you don't feel comfortable doing/going. Listen to your heart, go with you gutt & let things come naturally. :ricky: :ricky:

Most of all,... always enjoy what you're doing or where you're going & have fun doing it. ;)

Thanks guys.
Really great to have this kind of "support structure" for a noob.

If anybody is doing an outride suitable for noobs, would be much appreciated if I can tag along.
Not seeing much for WC in planned rides.
Need as much practice as possible.
Especially since the idea is for SWAMBO to become pillion earlier rather than later.

I will be doing Sandi's Safety Riding Training at http://twowheelafricatours.com/ this coming Saterday and then repeat it with pillion in a week or two, but still...

AgentK, have you ridden with a pillion before?  How is your riding skills?  and does your pillion ride their own bike?

If you count the two time I went riding on my uncle's farm with his 185(?) something in the orchards with pillion, yes, I have ridden with pillion.
And no, pillion has zero bike experience. She is however getting her learners and doing the full training with Two Wheel Training Academy.

I know. Time and experience.....
