My husband and I have been riding together for more than 20 yrs .... If I may give some tips for the pillion.

My husband & I ride everywhere together, technical sections included.  We work together as a team on the bike.  But the secret for us, when he approaches a technical section I sit directly behind him and look at one spot on the back of his helmet.  With a very loose body I'm more flexible and with looking at one spot I automatically follow his body.

Go with what works for you two, the experience of sharing a bike ride together is something else.

OK will try to upload a photo.
Me "Road Hog" Bob and wife Martha, I'm the one with the beard.  First photo taken on South Island, New Zealand.  Second is at 4500 Meters at Paso Jama, Argentina.  In a few month if you see us wandering around South Africa looking lost, say hi and point out the direction to go.

Change my name, that's going to be tough, I got the Road Hog tattooed on my arm when I went through Mexico!  How about Wild Hog?

Hay what ever works, don't want to be accused of stealing someones name.

How do I change it?

And how do I edit a post to fix the oversize picture?

If you count the two time I went riding on my uncle's farm with his 185(?) something in the orchards with pillion, yes, I have ridden with pillion.
And no, pillion has zero bike experience. She is however getting her learners and doing the full training with Two Wheel Training Academy.

I know. Time and experience.....

The way you're starting out , you'll do OK. Just keep riding.
