Hi, Kawasefi judging from your photo you are on the Plantation road that runs next to the staircase, wich will be on the mountain to the left(out of frame). The staircase wich is only possible with total offroad bikes was apparently build to transport the mine managers wife's piano to the bottom of the hill(they carried it down). Check it out when you go there again and youl see what I mean.

Yip, it is - hope I'll be able to graduate to the regular one once I'm a bit more experienced ! Think the riding position will be a bit more comfortable.
Probably a good thing for now though - I'm not the tallest  ;D 1,66 m

This photo actually taken at the location where Captain Cook ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef....   A really beautiful location...   I will get you the details where I hired the motorbike to do this trip, you can never see Australia any other way...

Tribulation

Cape Tribulation
Hidden in dense rainforest, this is the site where Captain Cook ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef.
It was Captain James Cook who first sighted the stretch of coastline known as Cape Tribulation. His diary entries for the night of Sunday 10 June and the morning of Monday 11 June 1770 explain how he arrived at the name.

'The shore between Cape Grafton and the above northern point forms a large but not very deep bay, which I named Trinity Bay, after the day on which it was discover'd; the north point Cape Tribulation because here began all our troubles.
