Hi guys. I am really interested in a 2smoke play bike. I weigh 105kg and are 1.9m tall. I am interested in the following bikes:
Kdx Not enough power?, crap suspension?, cheap, reliable
ktm200 Is it better than the kdx, more power, better suspension? Maintenance cost?
ktm250 XCW Looks like it is cheaper second hand than the yz250's. Is it a good bike?
yz250 My first choice, but very expensive second hand (2006 model +)
ktm300 Obviously the mother of them all, but I am scared of maintenance.
I am looking in the region of R35k, can you please help me with some insight. SharkZA, Plothond etc I woul really appreciate your help. If you had in the region of 35k and R500 per month for maintenance and R200 for petrol and only gonna ride every second or third weekend, which bike would you choose?
How do the yz compare with the ktm250, the kdx with the ktm200 and the 300 with all of them? How do the 250 class compare to the 300 and 200 class?
