Why don't Kawa build a twin DP bike?

I've just been reading a review of the Kawa ER-6n.
A 650 motor that puts out 61 hp at the rear wheel and 56Nm of torque - admittedly, the torque curve is more like Signal Hill than Table Mountain, but surely some engine mapping could cure this. A smooth 6-speed gearbox, 15.5l tank (a bit small), twin discs up front, 200kg ( a bit porky ). Surely this could become the basis of a decent DP bike that would be better than the KLR?
