Looks like you all had a great time. This really is valuable experience gained. As someone mentioned earlier on in the thread, sooner or later you are goingh to encounter this sort of terrain and unless you have practised thyis a bit you are gonna struggle.

I have found that once you have the basics right the confidence comes pretty quickly and confidence makes it seem a lot easier.
When in doubt...grab throttle!!!
