Any of you Aussie okes going on the Snowy Ride?
« on: November 07, 2006, 08:35:17 am »
My mate in Canberra just sent me a mail with a pic of his new 1200 GSA, so I phoned to congratulate him. It took me a looooooong time to get him over on the dirt side. So if any of you are going on the Snowy Ride, look out for a brand new GSA with all the kit like this. He goes by the name of Mario.

Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Mate I wish I was going on the snowies ride!  I am instead next week heading out to Lawn Hill National Park in Central Australia, for a week of DS in 40+ temperatures and desert landscapes.  Would swap that for the snowies any day :)

Congrat to your mate for the new BMW, and nice work for converting another to the DS side.  Let him know if he is in NQ he can give me a call and we'll go to the choice spots.

Cheers

Leon
