I bought my Dakar with a hole drilled into the false part of the exhaust .Effectively this has given the bike more of an aggresive sound than those without the extra hole .I'm quite happy with it the way it is as IMO the standard sound is a bit woosy.
A mate of mine wants to do the same to his 2006 model however wants advice on how much compression he would loose .I never knew what mine was like without the second hole so I am clueless .
I don't have a problem keeping up with all the other bikes I ride with so I don't see it being a problem re compression lost .There again we don't really race .
Any advice ?
