After another sorry breakfast we checked out and began our short ride to go see the Leaning Tower of Piza

The closer we got the more and more signs started to pop up.

We had a quick lunch before as we had time to spare before the next tour

There she is !!

Another tourist pic.

Scully wanting to ring the bell.

It is quite high up here, the low railing didn't help.

The staicase was rather narrow, the steps have worn due to all the traffic

We were now on our way to Milan, we got caught in a short rain patch again.

The streets here are nice and neat and not as busy as Rome.

There were a few nice bikes here

Boy it was great to eat propper food again  ;D

The petrol stations here are not like we are used to.

You can see the spacious room we had !

This is where the parking was, you can see the skid mark from my tires

The border to Switzerland

Some lovely lakes here

I was hoping for a test drive but it was a unanamous NO.

This is where we are.

Yet another tunnel !

Not much longer along the highways and we turned off and started to head into the countryside.

Not much further and the temperatures started to drop, i didn't have much petrol left and was wondering if i should have filled up earlier, cant see there being any petrol out here  :-\  aah the little things the passenger never knows about  ;D

Just up and over the mountain and we would be there.

Some nice windy roads here to play on.

Scully decided it was time to put on some more layers of clothes, if only i had something warmer to put on too  :'(

Now this would be fun in that Ferrari i saw.

I could have sworn we would have been there by now, it  was getting colder by the minute and my hands were beginning to go numb.

This is why Swiss chocolates are so nice, just look how nice the cows are !

There were quite a few biker friendly hotels here

We arrived at our lovely wooded hotel with central heating, it was very gooood to feel warm again.

It wasn't much longer and we were sitting down to some steak, chips and veggies, oh and the Sherry went down well too  :thumleft:
