That cant be!! Both bikes are great bikes. I would say it boils over to the preference of the rider.  :ricky:

KTM will win if no-brainer performance is the issue. :bueller: The 800 will win if it is a long term money for value package approach measured...only the big dogs can piss with the 800 as we can see in this comparrison. :deal:

That's the thing with the LC8 KTM, where do you go from there? You already have the best, you have to wait for KTM to bring out something better..... :pot: :peepwall:

Clinton may have a shrewd marketing brain, but hell, he needs a decent proofreader!
Maybe we will see a 800gs at the first day racing at Erzberg next year and BMW will leave the HP2 at home------Not F------ Likely. The 990 and the 800 a shootout ??? Give me the KTM for D/S riding anyday. ::)

You're to old for a KTM

GS 800 riders are tougher than Chuck Norris. Eish to ride the most "lewensgevaarlike" bike you need to be.... :peepwall:

No on a serious note, I love KTM but for my 5c worth, the 800 is an exelent allrounder for R 105 000.00 compare to the 990 R?

Aftermarket service?.... Roadside assistance?.... resale?.......

Behind every KTM there is a ATM...... :peepwall:

Sorry KTM'ers now I am out of here with speed.... :sign17:
