Yup, that are looking towards the Baviaans Mountains, from a farm road near the coccpan padstal. I have ridden down the track just to the east of the one you are on.

Quite korrek!  That is the Cockscomb... 50 km to go, this is the Gravel Highway Home from Steytlerville after  a coupla thou kays through the Karoo.

(er... I dunno about the Hanekam berge... )
