Those rolling hills, plantations and grey(almost white) wide dirt roads definitely remind me of the midlands .
Could it be as far south as Richmond area? Lots of trees there

At the 2013 KZN bash....the guys did an outride and passed through there. In fact, they went up the hill on the opposite side of the valley to a certain attraction there.

Ok....the attraction on top of the other side, is none other than a museum...believe it or not.

It is the Minerva Museum. The little town is Byrne, just outside Richmond.
