The Doc said some of the bone had been chipped off, and there's nothing they could do about it, and that it will always be there hurting...every sport has its injuries, some worse than others, but then again....not really any other sport that gives that adrenalin rush

except freestyle motocross, bobsledding and shark wrestling  :thumleft:

Played a very important prov rugby game with a broken right wrist and f#cked it up further.
Also had numerous other breaks and cuts including being paralyzed for (luckily only) 2 weeks :'( :( >:(

27 years later - The sneakiest of diseases - GOUT - attacking ALL the old injury spots :o

I have been struggling with the wrist being re-injured and have not slept properly for the last week.

Cannot ride bike, cannot play squash and cannot drive the 4x4 properly.

LISTEN TO THE GUYS THAT HAS BEEN THERE - I also used to be bullet proof :mwink:
I know nothing but I can not prove it,,,,,

+1 Ettiene you are still young so have enough time to get the wrist back to normal. My mx friend broke left anf right wrist twice each and still rides like a pro.

Hi there E,
5 months is nothing in the whole scheme of things - Mmmm can't really talk as I am back on the bike best Physo ever!!! but I remember my ankle injury - did what Dr ordered and stayed off it for 6 months and despite being told I would never walk again do a lot more than just walk on it - Hang in there  :)

Five months is ages.  What does the doc say is going to be happening after 6 weeks?  Does the bone continue to grow after 6 weeks?

So the cast came off! Things look good, hand looks abit weird on one side where the bone was chipped off.
Im riding (commuting) again, cant move the hand allot, muscles still stiff, throttle movement is restricted ;D

Must say, I love being able to ride again, being away from my bike for 6 weeks made me apreciate it again...I love my bike!
