Thanks Woestyn, eventually worked it out
Open pic in gallery. Click on 3 stripes top right corner, edit, resize, click 100% and click it down to 50%. Can then post at least 5 pics at a time..

The old tecnofobic idiots way ....put the photos on Face Book that shrinks them automatically then take them from there and put them on the forum ...
My 5 cents worth...

Huge loss in quality though

Listen chaps - seems you all missed the bus!!!!

EASY PEAZY way to do resizing!!! .... select all pics and right click - select "send to" - "mail recipient"... Outlook or you mail proggie would prompt you whether you wanted to keep original size or make smaller?
Select "custom" and then either 640x480 or 800x600 or 1024x768 and voila (dat's french  :))

once the mail prggie has opened... select all the files/pics/attachments and copy into a seperate folder. Normally the pics would be under 100kb each.... or much less depending on original size... but all suitable for web publishing.

my 2,5c worth...  ;D

Thanx for your description above...it helped me on the right track to do resizing....
