howdy again..i did this trip this past Dec and fell inlove with Hondeklipbaai...if you like nothing in the middle of nowhere and this place is for you... also good trip if going up from Cape Town to Richtersveld or Namibia...this place we stayed at is run by Rob and Dawn the nicest people you can meet ,place is called Skulpies kraal offering tented camps you can find them on the net if you need to book as they only  have 8 tents maybe more now...we didnt book and ended up staying for 5 days it was so leka
mother ....only half a word ;-)

I can second that one, went there on our way to Nam, was amazing.
Im not sure if the "restaurant" was already setup when you went but here is an image of that 2.

Can deff vouch for this place!

Looks like a great place !! How about a bit more info and pics pleeeeeeeeease......
Sometimes you don't need a plan, just balls :)
I'd rather ... be riding my motorcycle and thinking about God than sitting ... in Church and thinking about my motorcycle.

Will they allow us in the Park. Groenrivier route is now part of the Namaqa National Park.

Jip, they will allow you in the park with bikes...allow yourself enough time, esspecially when you're a group..

Na die Vioolsdrift 2011 Bash is ek , Douw (Firesquirrel) en Marius (Ploegskaar) hier deur en het ook in slkulpieskraal gebly

yeah - such an awesome spot up there. If you like the middle of nowhere you need to go South from Hondeklipbaai, on the coast tweespoor down to Groenrivier... Awesome riding, but those SE's will definitely need to take fuel as its almost 200km to Lutzville where next fuel is, and in deep sand you can burn fuel quickly!

You can go through the park, in fact GJ and Baas Attie had to do a wheelie for the ranger at the gate first :imaposer:, there is a bit with really deep sand, deep track stuff.
