Anyone know who the guy was on the silver Transalp that got downed in the morning N1 to Cape Town rush traffic yesterday?

Apparently the poos guy had no cance, the blue Tazz just changed lanes without looking / indicating as per an eyewitness.

Apparently his leg was in bad condition from the smash.

Hi

Just glad it was not you. Phew...

I believe there is a contest between Cape Town and Durban to see who has the worst drivers. I still think it's Durban, but a lot of people disagree, whats your take, perhaps we should start a poll?
Regards

I think it would be better to poll which one has the least bike accidents.

I would second Durban.  The affirmatives win.

Don't know about Durban, but all I can say is that in almost 4 years of daily commute by bike on the N1 and M5, I have very little complaints about the Cape Town drivers and their treatment of me on my bike.

The majority seems to see me coming and make room for me as I travel in the "bike lane" (between right and middle).

Or maybe I have just been lucky... :)
