I am in the market (or hope to be soon) for a ultra light enduro/adventure bike. I have narrowed my choices down to the Ktm 690e and the Bmw X Challenge. For the sake of the thread, please, these are the only two bikes I want to choose between.
I want to by second hand - already farkeled and big saving.
Now the thing is that I can get an X from R 45 000 - R 55 000 while I have seen very few 2nd hand 690's and those that I have have been at least R 75 000!
For R20 000 plus I can get a lot of farkels or use the money to keep SWAMBO happy.
The problem is I'm a Ktm man. So now what?
And yes I know about the tennis ball and the electrical problems the X has had.
