Its about the bike...always has been & always will be.

The GS 800 i like & its easy to bash BMW for some guys....i just wish there was something to say about DR650's....

2morrow at 6 I will be departing from Boksburg, destination Jay bay and Baviaans.

The bikes:

2 GS 800's
1 Versys
2 KLR's

Who cares about the bikes, its about the company.

GS8 is king. KTM simply unreliable and unpracticle unless you only do dirt...yawn

At the bash there was a guy that took his thru there on stock road tyres without any problems - just don't give it to Edgy to ride/fly up there...............

I did the Monte Capatone military road with a CB550F2 Super Sport and met a guy on a Harley Softail in Die Hel. You want to tell me this or that bike can't go here and there? It will as long as you've got enough money for the petrol.

That's the whole point.

We'll have 15 pages discussing the suspension of this R100k bike vs that one while any DS bike on the market can do more than what 99% of the riders on here will ever need.

The way I see it the GS800 is the best bike to argue and fight about. As a duel purpose bike its outstanding.
