I have gone to Kenton-on-Sea, all my life. My grandparents bought a little pondok there the year I was born (1979), so now that they have both passed away, my mom lives in the little house now. On me recent quick visit to SA in May, I made a quick 2 day trip to go and visit my mom in Kenton, I took some lekker pics there. The weather was perfect and with it being completely out of season and in the middle of the week, there was almost no people at all, it was bliss!!!
The awesome Kariga River, I have been up this river 100's of times!!!

This is under the bridge where the R72 crosses the Kariega at Kenton on the way to Port Alfred. In 2010 Marnus and I rode our bikes down to this exact spot. When we were young we used to jump off this bridge into the river, it is farking high when you are 12 yearsd old!!!

The next morning I parked at Middle Beach and took a walk all the way to the mouth of the Boesmans River, this is just before Shelly Beach, you can see the famous Carrige Rock in the distance

Shelly Beach, one of my favorite spots in the whole world

I then walked back to Middle Beach and took these pics of the pool where I learned to swim when I was just a little snotkop laaite!! Jirre, if I can have R1 for every time I cut my knees and feet on these rocks while jolling around when I was small..............

I just LOVE Kenton-on-Sea
