KTM 640

My seun het so pas n 2e handse 640 gekoop met n aftermarket pyp. Maar die bike vireer omtrent n mens se voete dood!! Sl dit help om sy oorspronklike pyp terug te sit? Of moet hy dit so aanvaar?
If i had to explain you would not understand anyway......

Netso. Die eerste maand was erg vir my, veral omdat ek van 'n 1200gs af gekom het. Dit begin met jou voete dan jou hande, jy bel die tandarts om net seker te maak dat al jou krone nog in jou bek is.... Nou is daar nie 'n lekkerder ding om te ry nie. Jy moet net wegbly van teer paaie aan die begin, grond voel jy dit nie eers nie... Ek wil nou nie 'n nes oopkrap nie want Bobnob wag daarvoor, maar dis 'n moer lekker fiets en veral vir 'n jong lat.

Bob, ek sal nie byt nie, maar jou lyk dam te oud voor jou tyd op daai Dakar... en Bradley wat amper 50 is wil nie eens sy 640 ruil vir die nuwe 990 nie. Dalk is die 640 "the fountain of youth" en jy het net nog nie die memo gekry nie  :pot:

640 vibreer wel,as dit te erg voel laat iemand jou fiets ry wat hulle goed ken,so pas een gehad wat grof gevoel het

Used as rubber once while mounting-did forkol for the vibrations!!!

There are no short cuts to anywhere worth going!
Performance is paramount, niceties only exist if it doesn't affect performance.

Don't rush it, it's helmet time you need, not a destination. Take it easy.

Mounting with rubber just does not feel lekker. Like scratching your ear wif a glove.

Good analogy. The 640 feels much smoother than my old XT, but then again the counterbalancer on the Yammie just made the low frequency shake a high pitched buzz

The state of tune and the exhaust can make a difference, but not much. Try the rubber inserts in the foot pegs, I suggest not buying them, there are plenty lying around as most people remove them.
