He pulls up next to me at the traffic light yesterday.  He looks my way, I greet, point to the bike, give him a thumbs-up and the jerk just looks away.  No greeting, no thanks, nothing.   :knob:

Arrogant fecker. Maybe an ex-poser and he still believes he rides a European bike? :imaposer:

I'm also getting a bit arrogant, I never greet.  :xxbah:
But I'll greet back.

Although yesterday morning I was filtering heavy traffic on William Nichols, and a there was another guy on a bike in front of me who was 'filterering' at almost the same speed as the cars around him.  I was fuming behind revving like an asshole.  Then when I arrived at the robot next to him, I just ignored him.  That was a Monday morning, so I still have an excuse to be arrogant...

There is also a guy on a red GS that never greets I see him almost every morning on Kraggakamma Rd.
There are no short cuts to anywhere worth going!
Performance is paramount, niceties only exist if it doesn't affect performance.

Don't rush it, it's helmet time you need, not a destination. Take it easy.

Stand up and stick your leg out a little further, like against the side of his helmet or something.  That should get his attention!

Maybe where he comes from he thinks you want to stick your thumb up his butt?
Or past memories just flooded through his head and he looked away so you can't see him blush.

Look at the general consensus regarding the "non-Japanese" bikes. Go onto any bike forum and you are sure to see the old KTM vs BMW banter. I used to ride a XT550 that was stuffed beyond belief, so no attitude problem there. I'm not the typical guy as everyone thinks. My riding gear is minimal, my mods to the bikes are cheap/free, etc.

Attitude is something I've long lost.
