Doctori, my dad and myself went on a 2 day trip to the West Coast in October.

The route took us via Riebeeck West, Piketberg, Redelinghuys and Elandsbaai to Langebaan, where we stayed over on Saturday night. Sunday morning we explored the area up towards Stompneusbaai, and got wet, some big rains moving through. Sunday afternoon we rode back home.

At the end of Slent road

At De Hoop near Piketberg

Kapteinskloof road

Near Banghoek. I had a few big snaking moments on the sand just before this spot.

I love that part of the world - very other-worldly feel about it. Did you pass by Verlorenvlei?

Lekker report guys.

The more I see reports from the cape guys, the more I want to go & ride there. Maybe us guaties should plan a trip down for next year.

Agree. But one would need about six months to go ride the places they have ridden. I think.

Wishful dreaming on my side.

Lekker reports guys. Thanks.

My guess is somewhere round Du Toitskloof or Bainskloof, but I'll still be searching in 2010 if you don't tell us in January...

You may as well start now, and post the report while you are at it so we can see how close you are to the sixpack  8)
