Digging up an old thread as I reckon it's a subject worth keeping current.

Can anyone comment on the reliability of the fuel supply in Mokhotlong? ...or anywhere in Northern Lesotho?

I'm going to be going up Sani, then Mokhotlong, Butha Buthe, and Fouriesburg, and I want to go up the pass with as little fuel in my tank as  possible. However if the fuel supply within Lesotho is unreliable, I'll be topping off my 15L tank and hoping it gets me up the pass and the 220km to Fouriesburg.

Fuel is always available at mokhotlong, never had a problem getting fuel there and never heard of anyone else having a hassle.

Having said that, golden rule in Lesotho, always fill your tank when you can, you never know when you may need it.
How can I be lost if I've got nowhere to go?
