EWXC #5

Round 5 will be on the 7th November at Hartbeespoortdam, basically next door "AOG" where we held one of our events last year.  Everyone raved about last years event in this area - this venue is awesome and will offer an exciting, diverse route - there's a tight little mx/ enduro track, a forest section with gulleys and steep climbs, a mountain with gorges, lots of rocks and great views of the dam.

We will be starting the day off a bit earlier for this round so we can finish an hour earlier for a very exciting reason ....

After the Ladies/ Juniors/ Novice C race, we will be having a seperate extreme race,  the like of which has never been seen in SA before! If you think Romaniacs and Erzberg are something, just wait 'til you see what we have in store.
In order to qualify for this event riders will need to finish top 7 in Pro 200 or Pro Open class, top 4 in Seniors, top 2 in Masters or top 5 in Novice A class. In addition there will be a few wildcard special invitations.
Our infamous track builder, Wild Will's instructions are - "build us a course that is ever so close to being unrideable". The route will be only about 2km's long and riders will only be required to do about 4 laps, but we anticipate that taking approximately an hour and having no more than maybe 5 finishers!
Sponsors willing we would like to offer a R5000 prize for the winner!

Competitors will never forget this race and spectators are in for a real treat.

After the extreme event we will be having the Ladies/ Jnrs/ Nov C prize giving and then the Xtreme and Championship Prize-giving.

Regs and entry forms should be available on our website by 13th Oct - please get your entries in early!!!

Alcohol is essentially nature’s Leatt Brace – with it, you might not be able to move worth sh*t, but you can take a slam or two and be no worse for the wear.

That was the toughest race yet, and I nearly died. Got beaten by an old codger on a XR200 :mwink:
