The BMW statement of 5% of gs1200 owners use this bike offroad raised two things for me:
1) what is regarded as offroad?
Here they need to clarify technical offroad vs gravel road.I think a lot of gs owners do travel on gravel,certainly more than 5%.
2)How capable is the standard gs1200 offroad?
I know it depends on the rider's skill and experience, but given the weight etc how capable is this machine????
Semi technical i.e Baviaans,Sani, Hell ?
Technical -Maybe Sani,Transkei,Namibia,botswana etc?
