2007 BMW 1200 ADV brake caliper
« on: October 18, 2009, 11:37:09 am »
If any one know of a rear brake caliper for my bike thats second hand, please let me know.

My mud guard broke of and the one screw is still in the caliper, so the easiest way I can think of fixing this problem will be a new(second hand) caliper. At first I thought that the mud guard doesent realy do any thing of real impostance, but with the recent rains, I found out that the mudguards job is actualy for keeping mud and stones out of the top box's locking mechanism.

And yes I have taken the bike in to a engeneering place, and they did take out the broken bolt out of the caliper. They have put in a insert(not sure of the termanolagy) but I think it was scew, so the new bolt broke of again. This is why I think the best thing would be to buy a new rear caliper.
