A day in the Cederberg (aka: Die Wolfbergkreef)
« on: October 19, 2009, 11:40:25 pm »
I had a great ride this weekend with two splendid dogs. Kreef and Wolf.

I don't have the time for a proper ride report so second prize is a few photos with a comment or two.

We met at the Cederberg Oasis early Sunday morning (I camped there the night before) with no fixed route in mind. The plan was to muck around and explore. Kreef new a farmer nearby who would let us ride some of the tracks on his property...

My frist stop on the Saturday.

The campsite wasn't exactly crowded.

On the way to Wupperthal.

On the farm. Before we even got to the proper track we had to ride through some super fine sandy bits. Tricky.

Kreef helping Wolf fix his stuck throttle. Yes, it was hot.

Itís still good.

The bikes.

The guys who sat in the river in their underwear waving at tourists.

Kreef shot the only video so unfortunately he doesnít feature in this bit. It really is annoying how flat video makes everything look.

Wolf.

Me.

Don't sweat the small stuff.

Thanks dudes was a real nice relaxing day.  Got some decent exercise.  I just realized that i needed way more technical experience!
