oh aye sis in the phane bos
« on: October 24, 2009, 09:39:47 pm »
I bought my younger son an old AG200 a few months back but for various reasons haven't been able to get it registered.

Decided this afternoon it's time he went for a slightly better ride than just around the park.

I gave him my riding jacket, packed some wors, and using the back roads rode out along the Kragga kamma railway line  to our PE playground.

The route

He did quite well for the first time in very loose sand, up a steep rocky path where he had to stop and pull away and down a few steep hills as well.

I can't wait until everything is legal and me and the two boys can do some decent DS trips together.

Finches in the background.

Going Up.

And down.
(Important to learn to fall before going too fast  :imaposer:)

D%$# that exhaust is hot and the thorns are sharp

But then time for a break

My liewe ou worsie.

Then he tried some B&Ws

After lunch we went for a short hike up the ravine, will be back to walk a bit further, it's fantastic up there.
Hard to believe this place is surrounded by rocky hills and small EC bush

Then a casual ride back again we came across a little sand track for a bit of fun and then home along the rail track again.

Flippen lekker okes!!!

Great one. Waiting for my boys to get a bit older so we can do the same.

Yes, I'm always amazed at how seldom youngsters these days experience any sort of adventure with there Dads.
Our best memories are the time the boys and I roughed it up in the bush somewhere.
And every friend of theirs who ever come with had fun, but few do it with their own Dad.
