Sua Pan, Botswana.
Guess the pans were wetter than those tourists in the backround thought. Hope they are safely back in Holland by now.

My folks worked on the AECI plant on Sua.
One year it rained so much that we could ride a boat on the pan.
Given the size of the pan, you can imaging the amount of water that fell from the sky!!!

Quote
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makgadikgadi_Pan
The Makgadikgadi Pan (Botswana salt flats)(Tswana pronunciation [maqʰadiˈqʰaːdi][needs tone]), a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana, is one of the largest salt flats in the world. The pan is all that remains of the formerly enormous Lake Makgadikgadi, which once covered an area larger than Switzerland, but dried up several thousand years ago.

WildWood, met daai wilde kuif sukkel jy seker om na links te draai, maar lyk my die draai na regs het ook nie lekker gewerk nie. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Remember that hapiness is a way of travel - not a destination.

Glad you are happy with it. I sometimes think I should never have sold it.

How many km now?

At a shady tavern in Matsulu. Not impressed with the tinnitus inducing kwaito vibes coming from inside the joint......
