Baie bly om te sien jy kon die kar opspoor. Kon jy al fotos kry? Ek ken mense in Outjo en kan dalk help reel??

Het die eienaar opgespoor en het telno en adres.
Gaan hopelik volgende jaar vir die oom kuier in Outjo.
Hy is die enigste oorlewende van die 5 wat die trip gedoen het.
Ou kar loop egter nie meer. Een van die oom se seuns in Swakop wil hom graag weer maak loop.

Sjoe dink net die kar is 100jaar oud volgne jaar jy moet beslis baie fotos neem en die storie opneem op n manier dit is ongelooflik om te dink daai kar bestaan nog dink net watse stories le oral op sy spore rond

So today I got a surprize call from the 88 year old owner of this car.  :thumleft:

IT IS RUNNING!!! They got a donor engine somewhere in Namibia, imported 5 new tyres from the USA now they just missing one or two small parts to put it on the road.

So if anyone knows someone that has parts for a 1922-24 Dodge let me know please :thumleft:

Wat 'n epic trip in daardie dae, dankie vir die deel.
Nou om die ou kar weer aan die gang te kry.
Engine loop M van Nam maar daar kort een of twee partjies sodat hy kan ry.
Engine het die oom gekry by die antique kar vereeniging van Nam.
Die idee is die karretjie moet weer padvat af Kaap toe op n dag, gelukkig is dit mos afdraend ;)
