A few Gautengers and Free State Dogs met up on Thursday Eevening at Milky Bar's place, had dinner and chatted at the local hotel till late. The Friday morning we headed toward Boshof, with a nice piece of dirt thrown in for early morn Friday morning satisfaction. Tonteldoos, looses one of his panniers a few km's before Boshof. Touratec nogal.

Wekom and more meet up at the Boshoff Hotel for Brunch, organised by Milky Bar - Thanks MB

Tweetie, highlight the link to your photo and click the photo button (under the I for Italics button) - that will put
Code: [Select]
[IMG] ... [/IMG] tags around the hyperlink...

So your last photo should look lke:
Code: [Select]
[img] http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/TweetieWD/IMG_2018c.jpg [/img]
And display :

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

Trials are survivable. We must keep our eternal perspective through the tough times.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we donít give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.Ē (2 Cor. 4:8-9 NLT)

Did talk to Wooly Bugger now, he is cooped up in an B&B near Sterkfontein dam/Little Switserland, his bike did give him some trouble and the weather is very bad, gale force winds and mist, his bike was blown over a few times he said due to the wind when he stopped to stretch his legs a bit, he decided to rather wait the storm out in the B&B, and as luck would have it a bus load of Spanish chicks stopped there to stay over in the same B&B, Woolly friend enjoy the redwine and ride safely tomorow :thumleft:

CHorse and I both arrived safe at home, after a two-day return ride which was predominantly tar. Slept at a neat little place last night, on the banks of the Vaal river at Bloemhof; a place by the name of "Plekkie in die Son"  (S27 39.525 E25 36.317) at a price of only R70 p/p. neat, clean ablution blocks, and they also have log cabins available at about R85 p/p.

This morning while standing outside the local shop in Leeudoringstad, we were "accosted" by a very friendly gent called Koos Rossouw, who showed interest in our bikes, and started chatting about where we'd been, and where we here headed. He invited us to come and view The Wielemuseum (his private museum of vintage bike's and cars, and other assorted bric-a-brac that he and his wife have been collecting over the past decades). Very interesting! He also extended an invite to any and all Dogs who may be interested in visiting, to contact him. Myself and CHorse have the details.

To the new friends made... it was great meeting you, and to the old friends seen all too seldom, lekker to have spent time with you again.

Thanks to all the Dogs who made this weekend possible.

Was really nice to meet you too. Thanks for the brandwurm, was quite lekker in small quantities! I have a couple of nice pics of the results. Here is a taster.

Ganjora & Killroy getting in touch with with their feminine side, or is it just a shoulder rub? You be the judge. ;D
