Wilddog samaritan - Thank you
« on: November 18, 2009, 06:49:25 pm »
Just a thanks to the wilddog on the GS1150 (i think) who offered help to a fellow biker in Mnandi today.

I was returning from Daytona to Centurion, and have pulled over ( in the pouring rain) to make some adjustments when this guy came past giving me the universal "are you OK" sign  :thumleft: to which i replied with the universal "I am fine" sign  :thumleft: .

I later caught up with him briefly, and was glad to see 2 paws  on the back of his allo topbox

This is a guy willing to stop, in the rain, to help a fellow biker with a problem ( not only a fellow dog, as he had no way of knowing I am on the forum too, there are no stickers on my bike ).

Thanks mate, if i ever have the privilege to meet you remind me to get you a cold one.

Thanks K, owe you one.

The DR's may be unbreakable, but it is not invulnerable. This "suzuki fokken pozer" ( i like this, thinking of changing my handle, thanks smithey) had to stop for about 40 minutes 10 klicks earlier to change a tube after picking up a nail in the rear tire driving past diepstoot.

K, Let me know when youre gonna be at blackwoods/PC/bosvelder or any suitable watering hole in Centurion. Will also get you a packet knicknaks  ;D
