Hehe, Nice Thread kev... Me have anything to do with it?? :D  :D

It's bad, this drinking and riding thing...the two things in live i like the most...beer and my bike...they should never mix, but occasionally it does, and i never have nore than 2 beers.

Beer make's one fearless and stupid at the same time.

Truthfully? I have been wanting to start this thread for a while... but I lacked the motivation!  :D  And then I read of your little slide... and with the festive season upon us, I thought I had better do it. I hate reading about accidents... and maybe this thread may help to avoid one.  :dontknow: I hope it makes people think a bit... a "beverage of choice" is good... biking is good... but not at the same time.

And I can hear Welshie now: "Yes, I agree, you may spill it!"  :D

Ya this drinking and driving is a dangerous affair. The other day I signalled a "turn right" and a bastard stole my beer right out of my hand  :D

On tar, no no. Ok, 1 beer, but that's it.

On dirt, a swig of soetwyn during pit stops and I ride better despite myself. At least, I think so.

On a more serious note,  I never drink when I go to sea,  I'm too shit scared.  I plan too stick to a couple of beers on the bike.  I had a nasty mishap after too much Bells this year.  I went fullthrottle into a 90degree turn.  I think your eyes still see,  but you don't realize the kak wat jy aanjaag. :?

I just read a artical with 3 people drinking and riding got a groot skrik when only drinking one what ever your just below the limit after two drinks you'll get lots of crap from the speedcops.

SO i need to change my way. There's no need to be sitting next to the road it sucks. :D

Nobody can be exactly like me. Sometimes even I have trouble doing it.

Eeeish! Good thread and point taken seriously, but there is nothing like a cold beer out of a parafin freezer in the middle of de wildt after a few hot dusty hours in the saddle. :D  However on the road I tend to restrict it to one with lunch.
