I suppose every lesson in life comes with a price tag.
Crutches and an orthopod are nothing if we consider what could have happened.
Love you and glad you're ok.
Thanks for all your support you fellow bikers

Hey guys, Yami900's suggestion about the CCTV camera's was excellent.

Alas the cammeras are run by the City council and the Metro Cops.
They flat out refuse to help members of the public at all.
Not even general stuff do you keep a history...

You have to Subpoena before they oblige.

What a las

Moet net nie so dom wees om die kamera footage te wil subpoena as jy die cager se spieel afgemoer het nie

Just for better understanding...the cager doing it by accident or not looking or something like that will get the stare and the lecture. The arrogant cagers, on purpose closing the gap, blocking, ext...they get the mirror treatment....o and I really dont give a shit about my biking image with these people putting my life in danger on purpose.
This country suffers from cANCcer. If we don't have it cut out it will be terminal.

"Too many car drivers need wake up calls and training. Being nice will not change their attutude. They need a rude wake up call. And the same goes for bikers riding like hooligans where they should not."

Ok all you hard core off specialists, it's day 4 after my closeup with the tar...

All of a sudden my ribs are killing me - can barely breath how long does this part last?  :eek7:

Falcon keeps making me laugh, at least she brought beer  :mwink:

It can be muscles, or it can be cracked.

I had one cracked rib - it wasn't fun.

I think a way to know the difference is if you try and trace close to where the pain is and see if you push down on either side if the pain is different.

I could feel a 'notch' where the crack was...

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

I would say the pain would last until the pain stops.

Oh, stay away from ground pepper...

Eina!!  :'( I've broken ribs....TWICE...!! Both times on.......WATER...!!

Don't ask!!  >:D

Keep very still for next few weeks, no lifting of anything heavy (or wild hanky-panky stuff).

And get good/strong painkillers from the doc (Voltaren or Cataflan too 'lig in die broek')  :bueller:

Sterkte!!  ;)

PS: Thx for the tips on the insurance.
Anybody heard of Quicksure?? They in Jhb.
Got a GOOD quote from them (for both bikes) today!!
