The_wes' Husky TE 610 Thread
« on: December 08, 2009, 11:44:04 am »
Hello loyal fans!

I've recently become the proud owner of a Husky TE 610. She is the 06 spec - blue and yellow carb model - first registered in 08 with 4300km on the clock now, and she is waiting in PE to be transported to me (as such, we shall officially meet for the first time on Monday only).

When she arrives, the following goodies await her:
- new shoes (Pirelli MT 21s front and rear)
- Pro-Taper fatbars and risers / adaptors
- Cycra hand guards
- Promoto Fastway foot pegs
- Leo Vince X3 can
- a gorgeous, custom made bashplate

Then it's off to a day at the spa (Superbike Solutions) for some quality time on Wrench's dyno and some tweaking under the hood.

Once that's sorted, I may or may not order the following, depending on whether I still have any money to burn:
- TrailTech X2 headlight
- IMS 16l or 19l tank

This is going to be so much fun, I can't wait  :ricky:

do a before and after Leo Vince dyno test

already discussed it with Wrench. I'll post all the results here as well... dyno tune will probably only happen late next week, or the week after that, and only if I can find a second clamp for this damn pipe (otherwise I have to wait until the new year)

Smart move taking the bike to Superbike solutions, they're very pro over there, that's the only place i'd take my bike if it needed work

Do the dyno with a worn tyre if you can, big knobs will rob you of hp...

Let me know when you decide to order that headlight, we might just do a double order, shared shipping?

Oh before I forget... you shoulda taken the XR...
