I tend to agree with BobNob on this.
I was joking about the boltcutter, it"s too heavy to lug around.
As ek jy was sou ek nie so gelyk het nie.

What happened to having signs that say:
"PLEASE CLOSE THE GATE"
Are farmers illiterate these days ???
Stones on gateposts...  :patch:

What about a sign that says: "BREATHE OR YOU WILL DIE"

Are you literate, why should he put uo signs for others' lack of commensence?

Farmers don't put stones on gateposts. Travelers do so that every person doesn't have to open and close the gate.

Very few cars drive around on farmer's lands for fun. Banning bikes takes away 90% of the problem for them (the other 10% being 4x4's).

BUT

The 90% being banned suffer because only 5% of them have no manners. :-\

Bikers should stand together and somehow frame the quadriders!
I am sure it was them, cunningly riding on 2 wheels only so the farmer thinks it"s a bike!
4-wiel glyjakkalse!!!

the newly posted "no entry, private property" sign on his gates applies to any person, on a bike, car, bakkie, 4x4, quad, horse or on foot. He isnt targeting the bikes, he's targeting everyone because of bikers.

I sincerely hope the sign also keep out farm murderers, who now might notice how quiet his farm"s become!

Ive known oom Merwe for 40+ years and if you are decent enough to ask, you will be allowed to enter his farm. If he's not there ask any local where you can find Frikkie his son.
They are salt of the earth, respect for private property will get you everywhere!
As far as I know it was guys from J'bay on plastic bikes .
No WD on that ride.

Chicco hi
I more than likely do, but can't put a face to the name . I do how ever know the Cambria clan.
Petrus van der Watt, owner of the Kudum kaya and Tiekkie Smith. How do you slot in with oom Merwe and co?
Let us know when next you are in the valley.
