That smoking thing: Every doctor and nurse asked me if I smoked, and they all told me how lucky I am that I don't, so apparently smoking really does slow the healing process.

Thanks again to Pistol, Miena Moo, Groenie and everyone else who helped to pick me up and carry me around while I was screaming like a wounded pig. Oh, wait...
And to the nurses, doctors and everybody else at Steve Bicko Hospital for the great care and treatment they gave me!

Well Leon the other path is the road always travelled....

So one is inclined to take the path less travelled...one never knows what is up on the bend....

All part of the adventure....so yep surfing is now the in thing....

Hey Leon,

Not a nice thing to experience, but if you ride a DS bike like it should be ridden, then the chances that something like this will happen are always there.
Been there and got the tyre levers (and quite a few self tappers included), so I know how it feels. I wish you all the best and trust you will heal well Dude.

If you need the odd lift in the next week - just PM me - got a driver that's not too busy at the moment

I've got one week and three days in this cast, then hopefully a smaller cast.

Does anyone know how long I'll have to wear the smaller cast for? I'm hoping like hell it's not six weeks!

Normally 6 weeks, that is if the bone is knitting properly otherwise can go up to 3 months. If I can make a suggestion, as soon as they give you permission to walk on the leg, do it!!! This increases bloodflow in the area of the break and enhances new bone growth

My wrist was in plaster for 8 weeks, I think it moved in the first 3 weeks

U1 broke his arm two days after getting a 125 and was in plaster for 9 weeks . get well soon leon
