GG, i canít agree more.
It was fantastic to sit and chat with her for so long, joking and laughing as the bike jumped around on the corrugations.  When we packed, she asked if we could stay longer - I think that means she enjoyed it too.
I am in trouble though...  Chrestien insists that the next one she would prefer doing on her own bike!

Leftless, thats a good kind of trouble...hey Christine hold your Dad to it you are very fortunate...see you soon in the dirt!!!!

Andy

The idea for the ride is very cool and its is lekker that you all enjoyed it so much. If my older kids were here, we definitely would have joined.  Maybe you should make it an annual initiative?

Hey guys/girls, thanx for a great ride and getaway, I got home home safely last night last night. (had to clear up some communication issues with the wife ) I took the long way home...Tankwa-Karoo with Mountain Boy and Girl, next morning took my son and I through Touwsriver then Montague via dirt roads, on to Bonnievale via Ashton then left before Riviersonderend and on to Napier then Elim and on to a rest at Die Dam. Being low on fuel forced us toward Gansbaai where we filled up, then took a right at Stanford and left on to dirt roads through the farm lands, Right on the Hemel en Aarde road and then a sho't left just before Caledon through some more farmland and finally over Highlands drive and through the Grabouw Valley and on towards home. Just over 1000 kms with about 75% dirt - Me very very happy  :ricky:and the kid enjoyed it stax and wants to know when he is getting his own bike. :thumleft:

Looking forward to the next one...
