I was demoted. No, seriously, the guys who build the 690 also build the SE. Some of their race-winning experience must surely filter
down into their production bikes?
As ek jy was sou ek nie so gelyk het nie.

I think the bigger bikes are more prone to certain problems when used as a racing implement like the smaller versions regardless who build them. We tend to forget that smaller offroad bikes have more regular service intervals than big bikes so neglect to take this into account when visiting far away remote places. My HP2 gets serviced every 6k miles, if however I was doing serious travelling and offroad riding would certainly check and service it more often.

2000k lazy miles on motorways certainly does not compare to say for instance 300 miles in Kaoko  :bueller: Again I go on what I see daily. I have not seen a single commuter on an SE in London to date  :eek7: Given the HP2 is also a fairly rare bike have seen two other riders in the past besides myself.

Maybe the Super Enduro guys must stop riding so much and posting more so the rest of us can be convinced

Maverick, despite my criticism, I do believe that the HP2 is a great bike.

I do have an answer , why not put a ride together with only SE owners and HP2 owners . Say 5 from each and it must be your own bike , just to eliminate paid riders . At the end of the day we will find that both brands are suited for the job , just depends on your personal touch . And "2stroke Fan ", this will be a comparison between hooligan bikes , not ancient bikes like yours .

Ek boek vroegtydig my toeskouersvoorregte.
Maar helaas, ons praat maklik van hooligan goeters, kan julle bybring? Toemaar, ek verstaan.
As ek jy was sou ek nie so gelyk het nie.
