Good evening dawgs. I am in the market for my next DS bike. As some of you know I sold my XR650R and bought a Yamaha YZ250 2stroke. I like the xt660z a lot, but can't decide if I must rather spend the R90k to get a decent condition 950SE??? I think the Ktm can make a good tourer and will be better in the offroad sections. But I like the idea of a brand new bike, the reliability of a single and the fuel consumption and tank range of the xt, but then I'll be sacrificing magnificent suspension and performance??? I am not too worried about pillioning, but like the idea that I can do it on both.. What is your opinions? I'll use the bike for day rides, maybe one longer tour in a year and maybe some commuting every now and then. The bike will also be used to pillion short distances not exceeding 200km a day, so obviously both can do it. ???
