I knew a guy who drove an old 240D merc, he wrote it off, he says he was driving home one night, and his car just fell over !~ ! ! ! !

Saw a car in town recently with a dented mudguard. the guy had written in marker pen next yo the dent "my wife did this"
Allways carry a map its not good to get lost and have to eat your friends

So you are making a statement that you “met this tree by accident.”
1) Was this tree dead or alive at the time ?
2) How is the tree now ?
3) Have you any pic’s of the injured tree ?
4) Is/Was the tree rich or poor ?
5) Do you expect any further interaction with this tree ?
May I remind you , many such meetings by accident, lead to a lifetime relationship

LOL.  None of the above.  Spotted the bike in Bellville when I was there over December.  Just wondered if a dog was involved.
