Scenes from Zanzibar, my return trip - just a few shots
« on: January 11, 2010, 10:36:05 am »
Well I travelled to Zanzibar 3 years ago on a bike, but only managed a few short days there. Always wanted to go back there and we decided to take the plane there for a 10 day break just after Xmas. Gave us enough time to explore the place properly. Here are some lekka shots I took:

Dar Es Salaam at night:

Ferry Port at Dar:

First sight of a dhow:

Cowabanga, donatello:

Feel free to send me a pm, then i'll give my mobile number to you. i've been there 2ice now. At the moment the island is without power, and its been like that since 10 dec, with no real solution in sight yet. It was very hot now in December and without aircon or fans, it can be challenging at times.

I use a nikon D90.

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

thanks, haha, nee jong dit vat maar net oefening en geduld. 'n SLR se funksies was 'n jaar gelede soos 'n formule 1 kar se stuurwiel vir my.

Practice, practice, practice. Jy sal sien mens beweeg stadig maar seker vanaf happy snapshots na iets wat jou oog raaksien en weet dit sal 'n goeie foto maak.
