Trial Tires in Cape Town
« on: January 12, 2010, 10:23:15 am »
Where can I get trial tires in cape town?

Trac mac wants to sell me D606's, obviously do not know the difference between trail and trial.

Looking for either the Mt43 Pirelli or the D803 Dunlop

Have heard of the endure guys doing this. Why not get a second hand one to try out? I am sure the CT guys would have some. You are obviously going to run higher tire preasures in them and use a tube unless you are running Tublis.

At low speeds they would work well but at pace I dont know.

Michelin is the most popular trials tire in SA. Get the standard one and not the super lite one.
Let us know your opinion on how it runs :thumleft:

Gone up a bit then. I got one last year for R700. I think they are still the same here. I got an old poked tyre but its well worn (for trials standards that is). Its in PE, if you really want it you can have it.
