So I decided.......
Have some money spare, a Hyusong gt650s(2007) and a GS650F(2002) and travel between pretoria and Woodmead everyday.
Decition: Sell both bikes take some savings and get something economical and easy to ride.
I'm fairly short(5ft6), though I really enjoyed my Tenere (1989 model) till mid 2009.
Requirements:
Must be able to pillion the wife along as she is really getting into the game now.
Must be a dually (I do the trip to the farm on a regular basis) What to start adventure trails (lots of offroad experience)
Top box option or have already.
Pinniors option or have already.
I'm not really a brand person so any ideas will do.
What should I consider as an ideal bike? Leaning towards the Gs800, Transalp or Vstrom1000cc.
Open to suggestions as price might be a factor
Have not tested any of these bikes before need guidance
I know if I see a bike and we click it will most probably make up my mind for me but I have to make sure of the general feel of bikes before I go out and look
