I travel down Koeberg Road from Tableveiw to the Fire Station every morning to join my lift club, then back again up Koeberg Road and into Plattekloof to leave the area.
Lately the cops have been on the corner of Koeberg and Plattekloof on the Tableveiw side just about every morning pulling over taxi's, but this morning they are pulling over bikes. ???
I am not sure if they are checking licences but when I passed, three bikes were getting tickets and I assume they are being fined for driving down the right hand side of the row of cars turning left into Plattekloof and then dipping in near the corner or going round the outside of the cars in the corner, as I do every time I use my bike.
What's the point of having a bike if one has to sit in the traffic......................would like to hear from anyone here was stopped this morning.
