First trip, went up normandien last w/end, weather was good so we went! Was our second time so we,re fairly confident! Just before mullers pass the spare tyre (heidenow) spots a rooikat next to the fence! We slither to a halt to get a pic! But its gone! Look sideways and theres a tribe of baboons sitting watching us! So off down mullers pass, suddenly feels as though we have a flat, pull over, no tyres are good! Check the road surface, wet yellow clay! Drive on eggs till we get to firmer ground and keep going. Right now! Get to normandein only to find that the whole mountain is compose of this wonderfull yellow stuff! Half way up the front wheel locks up solid and the bike stalls. Sit there with a stick digging it out under the mudguard. At this point heidi starts walking and i start trying to ride up! Went up like a speedway bike frñt wheel locked sideways and bike churning. Took about 45mins to get to the top! But i reckon the swearing helped. Out of space will continue in next episode!
